Protecting one of the last remaining unfragmented rainforests in Cambodia

    Engaged across the project zone collaborating in forest protection and sustainable livelihood programs and benefitting from improved infrastructure, education and healthcare

    Of tropical rainforest protected in one of the 200 most important global biodiversity areas spanning ridge to reef, arresting deforestation through participatory land use planning, securing land rights and enhancing law enforcement

    Protected within the Indo-Burma biodiversity hotspot  including the Asian Elephant, Giant Ibis, Sunda Pangolin, Yellow-headed Temple Turtle and Sun Bear

    During more than 15,000 patrols by the Cardamom Forest Protection Program, safeguarding wildlife and preventing deforestation, rescuing and rehabilitating more than 2000 live animals and confiscating over 3,000 illegal chainsaws

    Installed in 24 communities, providing clean water for drinking, sanitation, agriculture, and livestock through solar-powered systems

  • 27.6 million tonnes CO₂ emissions avoided

    From 2015–2021, with verified annual reductions averaging nearly 4 million tonnes CO₂e per year under the VCS standard with CCB Double Gold certification
