The Voi Diagnostics Laboratory is a state-of-the-art medical and pathology laboratory, refurbished and funded by the Kasigau Corridor REDD+ project. It is situated in Voi town close to Wildlife Work’s Rukinga Headquarters. The number of patients visiting the lab has grown from approximately 75 patients per month in 2014 to nearly 1,450 patients monthly currently, each undergoing between 1-8 tests depending on the procedure. In the 8th monitoring period in 2021, the Voi Diagnostic Lab at Moi District Hospital tested 17,410 patients who undertook 46,260 tests.
