The scholarships provided by the Southern Cardamom REDD+ project are aimed at improving access to tertiary education in target communities of the project. This program benefits not only the individual students and their families, but the wider community as a whole by ensuring inclusive, equitable and quality education opportunities for their youth.

Students in the Southern Cardamom REDD+ Community Education Program are supported for all four years of their studies. In addition to supporting their university education, this program also provides education and training on the importance of forest conservation, encouraging the students to return to their communities as leaders and innovators with the education and practical skills they have gained.
