Andean titi monkey

The Andean titi monkeys are endemic to the dry woodlands of Peru. They have a chestnut brown coat, and a grey tail which cannot be used to grasp tree branches. They mostly feed on insects, fruit and leaves and their ability to successfully catch insects allows them to survive in periods of food scarcity. They are threatened by habitat loss due to the expansion of agriculture.
